Located in Davison, Michigan, Dunckel Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing quality, friendly care to the pets of Genesee County.
Our patients include just about every kind of small animal, pocket pet and reptile: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, turtles, lizards, chameleons and snakes (non venomous).

 Dr. Kurt Dunckel | Dr. Kurt Dunckel graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physiology in 1978 and DVM in 1982 from the College of Veterinary Medicine. He started Dunckel Veterinary Hospital in 1991 and built the current building in 1995. Dr. Dunckel's special interest is in all types of surgery. He is the past president of the Saginaw Valley Veterinary Medical Association and of the Davison Optimist Club. He has also been involved with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters for several years and in his spare time loves to golf. Dr. Dunckel and his wife Debbie have two sons, Ryan and Alex, two cats, Charlie & Sparty and two dogs Sydney, an Australian Cattledog and Dexter, a terrier mix. |
 Dr. Heather Wark | Dr. Heather Wark was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from the University of California- Davis in 1989 with an honors degree in Zoology. She earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993 from Michigan State University. She enjoys all disciplines of her job, especially the human-pet bond. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wark enjoys traveling, running, outdoor adventures and New York Yankees baseball. She is the proud mother of Aconi, Shalako and Samhain. |
 Dr. Ron Crow | Dr. Ron Crow was born in Indiana and was raised in the Flint area. He graduated in 1993 from Michigan State University- College of Veterinary Medicine with Honor, and is a member of the Society of Phi Zeta Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. His special interests include surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology and trauma medicine. He resides in Swartz Creek, with his wife Mary, a cosmetologist who owns and operates her own styling salon. They share their home with 4 dogs (Pee-tee, Bay-lee, Speck and Butch). Dr. Crow is an accomplished artist with interests in wildlife art and has painted many murals. He enjoys camping, hunting, fishing and woodworking in his spare time. |
 Dr. Ian Wright | Dr. Ian Wright was born in Flint and raised in the small town of Dryden. He attended Michigan State University and studied finance before graduating Veterinary School at MSU in 2006. He currently lives in Swartz Creek with his two dogs, Crouton a mini Rottweiler (no one told him he's really a Poodle) and Nick a German Shepherd, his cat Onyx and his two Corn Snakes. Dr. Wright's special areas of interest include surgery, behavior and internal medicine. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, sports and spending time with his family. |
 Dr. Angela Kvasnica | Dr. Angela Kvasnica was born in Flint and raised in Davison. She graduated in 1999 from the University of Michigan with a degree in engineering and worked in both the consulting and auto industries before attending veterinary school. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 from Michigan State University and has special interest in pocket pets, surgery & internal medicine. Dr. Kvasnica and her husband Jason currently reside in Lansing with their two beagles, Berkley and Zoey, and their two cats, Ginger and Oliver. In her free time she enjoys traveling, photography and yoga. |
