I never even knew about chiropractic growing up, but wish I had. I used to suffer from allergies and headaches on a regular basis. I did not know any other way to control them besides medications, shots and doctor visits. When I was early in high school, I wanted to go into the health care field, I really did not know which way or what kind, but I felt this is where I needed to be. On top of that, back then I knew that I wanted to work hands on with patients. As high school went along I was influenced to go into computers and electrical engineering as I was decent in math and people around me were telling me that is where the growth was at. So I listened to them for a bit. I graduated in enrolled in a undergraduate program for engineering and I hated it. Literally, I could not get an ounce of interest out of it, and this was only after the first quarter. That is when I knew I had to make a change, there was no way I could continue school and do this for a living without having my heart into it. So change came. I went back to what I always wanted to do Health Care. During the same time my mother was going through a huge low back issue. She suffered a severe lumbar disc injury at work and seeing her go through injections, rehab, and then surgery and post rehab, and then continue to have pain....I thought there has to be other options. Well the doors opened to chiropractic. Within 3 months, I changed my major, and never looked back. At that time I got under chiropractic care and within the first month of care the allergies and headaches went way. I could not believe it. I finished undergraduate studies and enrolled and got accepted to Life Chiropractic College West located at that time in San Lorenzo, California [now in Hayward, CA]. I looked at other schools, but this place just seemed to open its arms to me and it just felt right. After that it is history. I don't see myself ever doing anything else. My goal in practice is to help many people as possible to achieve the quality of life they desire. For each person that is different and I want help them at whatever level they want. From relief care to get them out of pain, to corrective care and rehab to support the underlying structures, to support and wellness care. It is always the choice of the patient, and either which way, I will be here for you. I live locally in San Ramon with my wife Paula and two children, Nevin and Daya. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching the kids grow up [they do it so fast]. We are here for the long term, thus we will continue to be part of the community for a long long time. My entire family gets chiropractic care.
