After graduation from UC Berkeley in 1979, Dr Windhorst started a private optometric practice which was to become Lake Stevens Vision Clinic, Inc. . "I have always been determined to treat all of my patients as if they were family. Rodney grew up in southern California, spending much of his post-school time bicycling, camping, and surfing under the warm California sun with his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Soon after initiating his early college education, Rodney was the kind recipient of a military draft offering, and spent the next two years in the US Army, serving a one year tour in Viet Nam as an electronic surveillance specialist. After returning home, Rodney was back in College spending one year at the University of California at Long Beach before being accepted at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry.

When not relaxing at home with his wife Janie, a Project Management Professional, Dr. Windhorst enjoys scuba diving, jogging, hiking, and boating the islands of Puget Sound & the San Juan Islands. |
 Brian E. Coe, O.D. | Calm and soft-spoken, Dr. Coe is driven by his desire to provide the best care available to his patients, and carry through with any necessary treatment plans at his disposal. The patient comes first.
Brian attended the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo from 1991 to 1996, graduating with a B.S. degree in Biological Science and a minor in Psychology. From there, he attended the New England College of Optometry from 1996 to 2000.
His experience took him through top class facilities like the Boston-based Lahey Hospitals, VA hospitals at Northampton, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island and the Dorchester House, a low-income health center just outside Boston.
After graduation, Dr. Coe moved to Bothell and started an office at the Pearle Vision in Everett. In 2001, he moved to Lake Stevens where he met and married his wife, Tamara. They have two children, Kristen, born July 2003, and Brendan, born May 2005.
Brian has extensive contact lens fitting knowledge and has a great deal of experience with post-operative co-management of LASIK and cataract surgeries. He has worked with patients of all ages, from small children to centenarians. |
