Dr. Crocker | Dr. Crocker grew up in San Bernardino, California surrounded by pets. From a young age, Dr. Crocker's mom taught him to value all animals and how to take excellent care of them. This included regular trips to the veterinarian. As a young child, Dr. Crocker remembers the family veterinarian suggesting he should consider being a veterinarian when he grew up. Time passed, and at age 15, Dr. Crocker began volunteering at that clinic. At 16, he accepted a job as a veterinary assistant and has been in the veterinary profession ever since.
Earning his bachelor's of science in biology at Cal State San Bernardino in 1992, Dr. Crocker moved to Washington to attend the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
After graduating from WSU, Dr. Crocker entered a partnership with Dr. Glen Howard, an old friend, and purchased Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Bill Green in 1997. The doctors later purchased North Bend Animal Clinic as well.
Dr. Crocker has a special interest in dentistry, client education and helping to build the human-animal bond. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Dr, Crocker says "I really love it when our team can significantly improve a patient's quality of life. Our pets are a part of our family. They do so much for us and certainly deserve to be as happy and healthy as possible!"
When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Crocker enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Mia, as well as their pets, a Labrador mix named Isabeau, and cat Brisbane. He also enjoys fencing, running and playing X-box games.
