Dr. Paul Miller	Dr. Paul Miller Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Paul Miller is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He has been a practicing chiropractor since 1987, and in 1994 established New Body Chiropractic & Wellness Center in Littleton Colorado. Dr. Miller is also a certified acupuncturist, clinical hypnotherapist, nutritional consultant, and has been studying Anti-Aging medicine since 1998. Dr. Miller's philosophy is that proper exercise, diet, nutrition, mental attitude and nerve supply makes a healthy mind and body. At our center we strive to provide all these essentials and more. Erica Snyder-Notz	Erica Snyder-Notz Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Erica Snyder-Notz completed her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado at Boulder and recieved her baccalaureate degree in Anthropology. She then attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Erica is a native of Colorado and grew up in the Conifer/Evergreen area.Dr. Snyder-Notz provides complete chiropractic care for the whole family (including pregnant women, infants, children and seniors). She is also certified to perform pre-participation sports physicals for junior and senior high school students.
Marc Jasin	Marc Jasin received a degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the Faculte Libre d'Osteopathie in France. He also has his license in massage therapy, which he received in Denver, Colorado. His osteopathic treatments specialize in the healing, hands-on modalities of cranial-sacral therapy, massage, sports massage, and orthopedic massage. These specializations are described as follows: Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST): Cranial Sacral Therapy is a technique based on Cranial Osteopathy. Like Cranial Osteopathy, Cranial Sacral Therapy seeks to restore the natural rhythmic movement found between the bones of the skull. It does the same for the movements of the sacrum. The purpose of this is to aid the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid throughout the central nervous system. Practitioners today rely on Cranial Sacral Therapy to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, eliminate the negative effects of stress, strengthen resistance to disease, and enhance overall health. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the cranial sacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including: migraine headaches; chronic neck and back pain; motor-coordination impairments; colic; autism; central nervous system disorders; orthopedic problems; traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries; scoliosis; infantile disorders; learning disabilities; chronic fatigue; emotional difficulties; stress and tension-related problems; fibromyalgia and other connective-tissue disorders; temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ); neurovascular or immune disorders; post-traumatic stress disorder; post-surgical dysfunction, eye problems, depression, hyperactivity, sinusitis and many other conditions. Visceral Manipulation: Visceral Manipulation was developed by French Osteopath, Jean-Pierre Barral. At optimal health, the relationship between the organs (viscera) and structures of the body (muscles, membranes, fasciae and bones) remains stable despite the body’s endless varieties of motion. But when one organ can’t move in harmony with its surrounding viscera due to abnormal tone, adhesions or displacement, it works against all the body’s organs and structures. This disharmony creates fixed, abnormal points of tension that the body is forced to move around. That chronic irritation, in turn, paves the way for disease and dysfunction. Visceral Manipulation (VM) is a gentle hands-on therapy that works through the body’s visceral system (the heart, liver, intestines and other internal organs) to locate and alleviate these abnormal points of tension throughout the body. VM employs specifically placed manual forces that work to encourage the normal mobility, tone and motion of the viscera and their connective tissues. Trained practitioners use the rhythmic motions of the visceral system to evaluate how abnormal forces interplay, overlap and affect the normal body forces at work. These gentle manipulations can potentially improve the functioning of individual organs, the systems the organs function within, and the structural integrity of the entire body. Visceral Manipulation is Useful for: • Swallowing difficulties • Digestive problems • Headaches • Incontinence • Back and neck pain • Shoulder and hip pain • Carpal tunnel and other repetitive strain injuries • Whiplash and other physical trauma • And many other conditions Medical and Sports Massage: • Medical Massage is not a general treatment. Rather, Medical Massage is applied as manual therapy to the specific area and the primary pathology of the client's chief complaint. • Medical Massage is delivered to an anatomical region based on soft tissue and joint findings and after assessment procedures, such as muscle tests and palpation. • Medical Massage protocol involves several progressive steps or stages of treatment that attempt to correct abnormal conditions affecting the joint complex. • Medical Massage therapy is not limited to myofascial tissues, but includes the joint complex and highly specialized joint mobilization techniques, such as stretching. • Medical Massage adopts the medical techniques and protocols of other systems of health care. Orthopedic Massage: Orthopedic massage involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of locomotor soft tissue to reduce pain and dysfunction. Restoring structural balance throughout the body allows us to focus on both prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Orthopedic massage is much more appropriate when we are treating musculoskeletal pain conditions or sports injuries. Its objectives are to restore structural balance in the muscle groups throughout the body, and decompress arthritic or painful joints. Muscle groups shorten, due to prolonged poor posture or repetitive motions, and shortened muscle groups need to be stretched out or they will pull bones onto nerves and blood vessels, and cause or contribute to all sorts of orthopedic conditions
