Marketing software and service provider Madwire helps resource-strapped small and medium-sized businesses to address their unique digital marketing challenges. By combining benefits of a centralized platform called Marketing 360®, with those of a full suite of marketing software solutions, the founders of Madwire have essentially created a software and service hybrid. “Our mission has been to provide world-class marketing software and highly skilled professional marketing services through a single, powerful, integrated platform,” states Jerry Kelly, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Owner. “Small and medium-sized businesses come to us for a variety of reasons,” he explains. “They might want a website, they might want a customer relationship management system. They could simply be looking to get listed online. We make it our goal to service the full marketing spectrum for our clients.”

With decades of combined marketing and software experience guiding its strategy, Madwire began its business in 2009, when the divide between Software as a Service (SaaS) company offerings and agency offerings was particularly delineated. Rather than dividing its resources and attention between these two sides of the business, Madwire knew the importance of remaining focused on its foundational strengths rather than risking compromised quality for the sake of expansion. Still, Madwire did want to expand its offering. “As we continued to develop our own product line,” Kelly says, “we focused on what was in our wheelhouse and also recognized what wasn’t. We noticed, for example, that our clients kept running into issues as they tried to get their businesses listed online. It was a problem that needed a solution.”

In light of clients’ business listings problems, partnering with Yext was the perfect solution. “Yext solves a widespread problem, so we opted to partner with Yext. We actually went a step further and created an integrated solution such that our own local product, Local Listings Ads®, is actually powered by Yext,” explains Kelly. “At the end of the day, we nurture and take care of our customers’ software and service needs, and Yext helps us to deliver the ultimate product with listing integrations. It’s a win-win for everybody.”

In addition to leveraging Yext’s core PowerListings product, Madwire also makes heavy use of Duplicate Suppression.”Duplicate Suppression needs are key to every small business,” Kelly explains. “Any given isolated element involving location affects comprehensive success of any business in this increasingly mobile world. All cogs need to be effectively moving forward in the same direction, to get the online success that every business seeks and requires. How do we do that on a monthly budget, and scale, and provide efficient results? We need automation — so we use Yext’s location based technology to help drive that efficiency.”

In conclusion, Kelly remarks upon how well Yext fits in with Madwire’s core product, Marketing360. “The whole Marketing360 philosophy involves this ‘wheel’ that encompasses all of digital marketing’s components, all of which are key to our platform and system,” Kelly states. “Yext’s vision of collectively rolling up numerous directories and publishers into a single source solution resonates with our Marketing360 vision.
