Q: What are the advantages of becoming an Authorized Reseller?
A: The Authorized Resellers program is specially designed to give you the best tools possible to help your clients manage their online business listings across premium local search sites. As an Authorized Reseller, you will be able update business information, add pictures and business descriptions, run special deals, and more – all from one master account. You'll also receive discounted pricing, priority support, sales and marketing resources, and a listing in our Authorized Reseller directory.
Q: How much can I charge my clients for PowerListings?
A: As an Authorized Reseller, you have complete control over what to charge your clients for PowerListings. Typically, our resellers will charge retail price plus a service fee for taking the time to set up and manage the account. Another option is to bundle PowerListings into a broader online presence management service, sold at a price of your choosing.
Q: How do I market PowerListings to my clients?
A: Authorized resellers are provided marketing materials to help explain the value of PowerListings to their clients. We recommend you use the FREE Listings Scan on the front of Yext.com to help your clients see their listing problems and possible solutions offered by Yext.com.
Q: How do I sign up a new client for a PowerListing account?
A: From your resellers dashboard, select the "New Customer" tab and enter the client's business information. If they have multiple locations, enter information for one of their locations and you will be able to add the rest later. Once you place the order, your account will be billed for the location you entered and the client's PowerListings account will be created.
Q: How long does it take to get started?
A: Once you've signed up you'll be able to start setting up PowerListings for your clients immediately.
Q: How do I add more locations to an existing client?
A: First, log into the client's account. In the Places App, click the "Add" button in order to add a new location into the dashboard. Then, go to Account and click "Subscription Management". Click "Add locations", select the location you'd like to sign up for a PowerListing, and proceed to checkout. If you would like to charge the purchase to a different credit card, you can add another credit card to your account under "Billing Settings".
Q: Is there a bulk upload feature?
A: Yes. If you would like to create PowerListings for multiple clients or locations and don't want to sign them up individually, reach out to your account manager and he or she will help get your locations set up.
Q: Can my clients log into their account?
A: Yes. From the resellers dashboard you have the ability to send your clients their login credentials. They will be able to manage their existing listings but they will not have the ability to purchase additional PowerListings.
Q: Is there any way to co-brand the dashboard with my company logo?
A: Yes. Reach out to your account manager and he or she will help you set this up.
Q: Is there a way for me to make commission for directly referring clients to Yext?

Q: Can I purchase PowerListings on individual sites for my clients instead of the full package?
A: Not right now. Currently resellers can only sell a pre-set PowerListings bundle to their clients. In the future we plan on making custom configurations available along-side special offers of the month.
Q: Can my clients pay you directly?
A: The program requires that the resellers themselves enter the payment information in order to buy PowerListings for their clients. If you have your client's credit card information, you can add it to your account under "Billing Options" and set it as the primary payment method. It will then be used for all subsequent purchases. If you would like all your clients to sign up for PowerListings on their own, you might want to look into joining the affiliate program.
Q: Can PowerListings be purchased monthly?
A: No. PowerListings must be purchased on an annual basis.
Q: Can I be invoiced for my PowerListings?
A: We offer an invoicing option for partners who have built up a credit history with us. Reach out to your account manager for more information.
Q: What happens if my customers cancel before their subscription expires?
A: Customers must pre-pay for the full year so their service will continue until the subscription expires. Refunds will not be issued for partial service.
Q: How will I be notified if there are specials running on yext.com or if the list price changes?
A: Yext will make sure to notify its authorized resellers via e-mail every time we run a special offer for PowerListings or if the list price changes.
Q: What is enhanced content?
A: Enhanced content is everything from photos and videos of your business to company description and store hours. PowerListings provides you with Special Offer field as well. Enhanced content helps get your listing ranked higher.
Q: What is "not standing out" mean on the scan?
A: Not standing out means that your listing is not a PowerListing and therefore does not have a special offer field. It is likely missing other enhanced data as well that would help your listing jump out!
Q: What is the pricing? What is the $149 fee?
A: The $149 fee is a yearly fee for becoming a authorized reseller of PowerListings. We then provide PowerListings for you to sell to your clients at a 5% discount from our current pricing card.
Q: What is my commission?
A: We let you decide on the pricing of PowerListings to your customers, thus determining your commission.
Q: What is bronze, silver, and gold resellers?
A: These are based on volume discounts. You have a 5% discount until you reach a certain amount of revenue, then your discount increases.
