Howard Lerman

Chairman, Co-Founder & CEO

Howard Lerman founded Yext in 2006 with the vision of improving the way local businesses and consumers connect. Yext is Howard's fourth internet company, the past three of which have had successful exits. Howard is a graduate of Duke University.

Brian Distelburger

Co-Founder & President

Brian Distelburger has extensive experience with startups and publicly traded companies in the online media and database marketing space. Brian believes Yext will revolutionize the way consumers connect with local businesses and looks forward to the continued challenge of building a great company. Brian is a graduate of Cornell University.

Sean MacIsaac

Chief Technology Officer

Sean MacIsaac serves as Yext's Chief Technology Officer. Sean was co-founder and CTO of Intwine, a software consulting company that he helped grow prior to completing its sale to Datran Media. After the acquisition, Sean was promoted to CIO of Datran, where his team supported the development and operations of Datran's core technology platform. Sean graduated with honors from Princeton University with a bachelor's in computer science.

Brent Metz

Co-Founder & President of Yext Calls™

Brent Metz is responsible for the company's flagship product, Yext Calls™. Prior to founding Yext, Brent was a senior scientist at IBM's Speech Recognition Labs, helping to guide the Company's overall voice strategy and representing the company to the technical community. He is a domain expert in Speech Recognition and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) technologies, with over a dozen patents pending. Mr. Metz is an IBM Extreme Blue alumnus, a distinction he earned while completing his bachelor's degree in computer science from Virginia Tech.

Ross Weinstein

Senior Vice President of Media

Ross Weinstein serves as Yext's Senior Vice President of Media. He oversees Yext Numbers™ and is responsible for the company's partner and media relations.  Ross brings over 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, sales and marketing from successful startup and media companies. Most recently, Ross spent four years with Ingenio (acquired by AT&T in 2007) where he helped pioneer a multi-billion dollar local advertising market with Pay Per Call technology and was instrumental in the company's significant revenue growth. Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the State University at Buffalo.

Alok Bhushan

Chief Financial Officer

Alok Bhushan is a senior finance executive with years of experience running financial operations at rapidly growing technology companies. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Intwine and helped to complete its sale to Datran Media. Prior to joining Yext, he spent several years on Wall Street in index arbitrage and quantitative finance. Alok Bhushan graduated with high honors from Harvard University with a bachelor's in economics and a master's in computer science.

Jonathan Betz

VP of Engineering

Jonathan serves as Yext's Vice President of Engineering. Prior to Yext, he was Senior Director of Engineering at Clickable, where he helped build the search marketing optimization business from fewer than ten customers to several hundred. Before Clickable, Jonathan was an engineering manager with Google, where he spent five years building new products for web search, AdWords, and AdSense. He has filed eighteen patents related to information extraction and information retrieval on the web. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a double major in Cognitive Science, from Carnegie Mellon University.

Dan Sutera

VP of Products

Dan Sutera oversees product development, both online and offline, from consumer facing web sites to marketing materials to internal tools. Since graduating from Duke University, he has been a serial entrepreneur, founding three successful internet companies before joining the Yext team.

Bryan Rutcofsky

VP of Sales

Bryan Rutcofsky serves as Yext's Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for the management of the sales force as well as the grassroots growth of our industry sites. Bryan joined Yext from FDN Communications, a Florida based telecom company, where he was a top sales performer and served as a Corporate Sales Trainer and Manager during his tenure. His expertise in sales and mentoring new sales associates has been an integral part of the success of Yext.
