Warranty Information
For Plasma HDTVs, there is a 2 year limited warranty on parts and labor for in-home service. For LCD projection TVs, there is a 2 year limited warranty for parts and labor and 90 days for the lamp if the model was manufactured before 2004. If it is manufactured after 2004, there is a 12 month warranty. If you own a Director's Series TV, you have a two year in home service warranty.

Common Repairs
Most issues have been related to color problems as multiple consumers have reported seeing red, blue, and green shadows surrounding images. Also, some consumers have had problems with the provided "magic focus tool", the HDMI signal, the screen powering off and sound intermittently cutting out. It would be in your best interest to protect your investment with an extended warranty.
