The Ultimate Guide to Scooby Doo

The lovable character of Scooby Doo first appeared with his teenage friends in a cartoon television show in 1969. Since then, the production of cartoon episodes, books, and movies have garnered Scooby Doo an enthusiastic following of fans the world over.

In one memorable episode called "That's Snow Ghost," Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo go on an expedition to the Himalayas. Upon arrival, the gang encounters a man who spins the tale of a yeti who haunts the area looking for the man who destroyed him. The man issues a warning to the kids that anyone who gets in this vengeful yeti's way will be transformed into a ghost.

The episode, "Jeepers It's the Creeper" begins with the gang on their way to a dance. En route they find a bank security guard who has serious injuries. The man gives them a sheet of paper with nothing written on it and painfully mumbles something about a flame. Later, the kids get word of a nearby bank robbery suspect called the Creeper. The mystery gains momentum as the gang realizes that the Creeper desperately wants that piece of paper.

In "Don't Fool With a Phantom" the Mystery gang is enjoying a tour of a television studio lead by their close friend Johnny. Suddenly, an uninvited guest shows up in the shape of a wax monster. The kids do some digging and learn of an ex-employee of the station named Grisby, who specialized in creating wax figures. The day Grisby was fired he swore that he would one day give life to one of his wax creations and command it to take revenge on the people who treated him unfairly. It's up to the kids to get to the bottom of this waxy mystery.

"Hassle in the Castle," finds the Mystery gang stranded on a haunted island, inside a creepy castle. There they encounter a ghost who is in search of a pirate's buried treasure. The kids and Scooby Doo must face this terrible phantom while they conduct their own investigations into this famous buried treasure.

In this unforgettable episode of Scooby Doo, Where Are You!, Scooby falls for a cute show poodle. At the start of, "Decoy for a Dognapper" the poodle that has captured Scooby Doo's affections is stolen away from a dog show. Scooby and the gang soon learn that several other show dogs have been taken. They decide to make Scooby over as a fancy show dog to capture the thief in the act. The mystery takes off when Scooby disappears from the dog show and the gang follows his trail to what appears to be a deserted village. This village may turn out to be the key to Scooby's disappearance and the show dog theives.

Scooby Doo and the gang are excited about the grand opening of a new amusement park in an episode called "Foul Play in Funland." But, they find that this fun atmosphere is hiding a mystery when they witness the rides running before the doors have opened to the public.

A circus is the setting of an episode entitled, "Bedlam in the Big Top." The kids take on this mystery after talking with ex-circus members who claim the circus is cursed with a case of bad luck. The gang soon uncovers a story about a ghost clown who seems to be the cause of the bad accidents happening there of late. The gang must figure out the true story behind the unfortunate events at the circus before it closes for good.

In, "Go Away Ghost Ship" the young mystery- solving gang finds themselves dealing with a pirate's ghost. He's been dead for centuries but is back to grab the treasure that he claims is his property. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby must put their heads together to find out the truth behind this ghostly pirate.

The gang is on a fun fishing trip when they find a caveman frozen in ice. This episode entitled, "Scooby's Night with a Frozen Fright" continues as the gang transports the unwanted caveman to a place called Ocean Land for safe-keeping. Unfortunately, someone thaws this angry caveman and he wants revenge.

The action of, "Scooby Doo and a Mummy Too" takes place in a museum. An Egyptian mummy has risen from his crypt and is on a hunt for the person who stole one of his precious coins. Unfortunately, that person is Shaggy. Will Inca the mummy turn Shaggy into stone?
