Two Guys and a Girl
“Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place,” as it was originally called, was created in 1998 by Kenny Schwartz and Danny Jacobson. Two guys, Michael "Berg" Bergman and Peter "Pete" Dunville, played by Ryan Reynolds and Richard Ruccolo respectively, work in a pizza shop on Beacon Street and attend graduate school together. They live in the same building as the girl Sharon, played by Traylor Howard. Other characters come and go in the lives of the three, but the relationship between them is the central theme of the sitcom. In the third season Berg starts his residency as a physician, and Pete begins working for a cosmetics company, so the show was renamed “Two Guys and a Girl,” dropping the pizza place from the show entirely. The show ran for four seasons and ended with “The Internet Show” in which viewers were able to vote for the ending of the show, the season, and, in fact, the entire series.
