Dr. Roxanne Levinson
Dr. Roxanne Levinson is a native of Smyrna, Georgia and was educated in Cobb county public schools. She attended Georgia State University and University Of Georgia where she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1983. She owned and operated ARKLE Veterinary Care as a House Call practice until 2000, when she purchased Companion Animal Hospital and it became what you now know as ARKLE Veterinary Care.
Dr. Levinson is a Member Practitioner of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and a member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Cornel Feline Health Center, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA), Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Association (GAVMA), and is a Past-President of the Cobb County Veterinary Medical Society (CCVMS). She has special interests in dermatology and behavior medicine.
Her family consists of a husband named Jim and a spoiled, elderly cat, named Capone. When not catering to Capone's every whim, Dr. Levinson enjoys reading, cooking and bowling. She also enjoys speaking to elementary school classes about veterinary medicine and animal care.
