Our vets are Dr. Scott Petereit, Dr. Holly Pappas and Dr. Christine Kurowski. Doctors
Dr. Scott Petereit
Graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Dr. Petereit has been featured in a nationally featured news release regarding pet nutrition as well as several other veterinary publications. Dr. Petereit is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Dr. Holly Pappas
Graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She also received a BS, summa Cum laude with a degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 1998. Dr. Pappas moved from Columbus, Ohio to practice small animal medicine for 6 years in Palos Heights, IL at the Palos Animal Hospital before joining the Camp McDonald Animal Hospital team in October of 2008. She owns two wonderful kitties and she loves to read, dance, and work out. Dr. Pappas is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Christine Kurowski
Graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after doing her undergraduate work in Animal Sciences also at the University of Illinois. Dr. Kurowski practiced for 4 years in Elmhurst, IL at Elmhurst Animal Care Center before joining the Camp McDonald Animal Hospital in June 2009. Her major interests include both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Kurowski is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
