Description

The Community Animal Hospital has been dedicated to serving the mid-shore's people and their animals for over 20 years. Our state of the art 6,000 square foot hospital is the largest in the area that is dedicated exclusively to the care of small animals.

Drs. Joe and Donna Nizolek converted a brick ranch-style house into the original hospital in 1984 and for many years provided veterinary care to "all creatures great and small." Remodeled and expanded in 2000, the Community Animal Hospital has evolved into a multi-doctor practice that provides the very best in small animal medicine and surgery. We have grown to meet the needs of our community and, at the same time, have maintained the welcoming atmosphere and personal attention that makes clients and pets feel at home.

The Doctors and staff of the Community Animal Hospital believe in a personal approach to the care of your pets. We tailor health programs according to the needs and lifestyle of each animal. If your cat or dog becomes ill, we take the time to discuss all the options for treatment, and we work with you to develop a plan. Our practice is built on excellent health care, compassion for our patients, and close client communication. We provide a 24-hour emergency service for our established patients.
