Doctors
Dr. Penny E Kupferberg , D.V.M
Dr. Penny received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in Wildlife Biology and Management in 1983. She graduated from the Ross University of Veterinary Medicinein 1987, and did her final year of training at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and Ontario College in Guelph, Ontario.
Dr. Penny praticed at Indian Trace Animal Hospital in weston for 13 years. She opened the Coral Springs Pet Resort and Medical center in May 2005. Dr. Penny lives in Parkland with her husband, son, and daughter, and her dogs Angel and Alex.
Dr. Amy Schein , D.V.M
Dr. Schein graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in 1992, completed her preveterinary training at Columbia University, and received her DVM from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She went on to work at the ASPCA in New York City for more than 6 years, treating shelter pets, humane lawenforcement cases of animal abuse and client owned pets. She has been featured onAnimal Precent ( on Animal Planet) as well as educational segments on local NY and national news channels. Dr Schein feels it is important to communicate with her clients so that they can make informed decisions regarding their pet's care.
Dr. Schein moved to Florida in December 2005 with her hisband, 2 young sons and 3 older cats.
