Doctors
Katherine T. Armstrong, DVM
Dr. Armstrong is a 1979 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Atlanta for 3 years, she founded Monroe Animal Hospital in 1983 and Weddington Animal Hospital in 1999. Her special interests are dentistry and dermatology. Dr. Armstrong serves on the Union County Board of Health, the Emergency Veterinary Clinic Board of Directors, and is an active member of the Monroe Rotary Club. She lives in Monroe with her Great Pyreneeses Pooh and Chester, her Ragdoll kitties Tyler and Cassie, and her husband Larry. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing and hiking.
Aaron Luckey, DVM
Dr. Luckey is originally from Indiana, but has lived in Charlotte for the past six years. He has a BS in Biology from the University of Findlay in Ohio, and he obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. He has 4 dogs - Porkchop & Buttercup who are Pit Bulls, Versace a Pekingese, and Gavin a Yorkshire Terrier. Dr. Luckey also has 4 cats - Shadow, Kayenta, Vanity, & Bobo.
Jeannette McGarry, DVM
Dr. McGarry attended the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1985, at which time she moved to North Carolina. Her special interests include feline medicine and behavior. She lives with her husband and their fish and cats - Swoop is the handsome kitty pictured.
