Description
Mission Statement
To provide comprehensive high quality veterinary care with emphasis on exceptional client service and patient care, while providing employees with desirable, fulfilling and financially rewarding employment.
General Services:
Immunization and Wellness Care
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
Dental Care
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available, including root canals, caps and braces and full dental radiographs.
Radiology
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.
Internal Medicine
We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.
Surgery
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.
Pharmacy
We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.
Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.
Nutritional Counseling
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
Advanced Services:
Ultrasound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
Endoscopy
High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet's gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.
CT Scan
Computed Tomogragphy, CT for short, utilizes x-ray technology and sophisticated computers to create images of cross-section "slices" through the body. CT exams provide an overview of pathologies and enable rapid analyses and treatment plans.
Outpatient imaging centers have served a very important role in human medicine for many years, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of human pathologies. We feel the time has come to provide the same high quality, patient-friendly imaging services for veterinary medicine.
Reproductive Health
Reproductive health includes breeding management, semen collection, artifical insemination surgery and shipping.
Hydrotherapy
Advances in veterinary medicine have been incredible in the last 20 years. One of the most recent advances has been in the area of physical rehabilitation. The benefits of human physical therapy have been adapted to meet the needs of our cherished companion animals. Research indicates that loss of muscle mass begins 24 hours following surgery or serious injury. When rehabilitation is delayed, stiffening of the joints and loss of muscle tone and control occur. Our goal is to minimize the recovery period of your pet as well as increase mobility and overall quality of life. The hydro treadmill therapy allows the body to bear less weight in the water which reduces the load of painful joints to permit comfortable exercise. Hydroptherapy is also beneficial for weight reduction, arthritis/degenerative joint disease, sporting injuries, spinal conditions, and body conditioning in athletic working dogs.
Orthopedic Procedures
We are able to perform the following orthopedic procedures:
TPLO- Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy
TPO- Triple Plevic Osteotomy
FHO
Fracture Repair
Neurologic Surgery
We offer the following procedures:
Hemilaminectomy and Ventral Slot
TECA- Total Ear Canal Ablation
Ear surgery to relieve chronic ear disease.
Soft Tissue Surgery
Soft tissue surgeries include the following:
Thoracic Surgery
Abdomindal Surgery
Laryngeal (Upper Airway) Surgery
Oral Surgery
Additional Services:
Boarding
Pets are like our children- we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active.
Bathing
Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor- your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include a nail trim and ear cleaning.
Cremation
We have an on-site crematorium.
