Description

Mission statement

To provide the most progressive high quality medical care, relieve pain and suffering, promote the human-animal bond, and educate the community.

The Redondo Veterinary Medical Center’s medical philosophy is built around the principle that only the highest quality, research-guided medicine is acceptable for patients and prevention is more effective than treatment. The Redondo Veterinary Medical Center also believes high quality medical care should be made available to all clients and pets, not just those who seek specialists.

Dr. Moss

Jarrod R. Moss, D.V.M., graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and gained extensive experience in the fields of pain management, dermatology, wound repair, and cancer diagnosis and treatment. Postgraduate training was then completed in a rigorous high volume internship in a West Los Angeles Animal Surgery and Referral center. There he received extensive training in oncology, ultrasound, ophthalmology, critical care, emergency, and internal medicine. He also has continued education in advanced diagnostics such as ultrasonography and ophthalmology.

Dr. Moss has extensive training in internal medicine, critical care, and advanced diagnostic procedures. He firmly believes advanced medicine should be made available to all clients and pets by their family doctor. This philosophy allows him to bring the same level of high quality care expected in advanced referral facilities into the realm of general practice and everyday clients. By practicing higher quality medicine at the general practice level, he hopes to increase the awareness of disease, identify early markers of disease, and have more successful treatment outcomes when compared to national averages.
