Doctors
Robert Carlson, D.V.M.
Robert Carlson, D.V.M. grew up in Bedford, MA. He earned his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Cornell University. He is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Working as a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Carlson noted that the typical small animal clinic experience was highly stressful for the average cat. In 1987 he established The Cat Doctor, the second cats-only veterinarian clinic in Massachusetts.
Anne Richards, D.V.M.
Anne Richards, D.V.M. joined The Cat Doctor in 2001 and has been working with cats exclusively since graduating from veterinary school. She received her bachelors degree in biology from Swarthmore College and her veterinary degree from Cornell University. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Cornell Feline Health Center. Dr. Richards also volunteers regularly at feral cat trap-neuter-return clinics held by Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and Commonwealth Cats.
