Doctors
Dr. Heidi Bassler
Dr. Heidi Bassler is our Medical Director. After receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1993 from Atlantic Veterinary College, Canada, she pursued an 18-month post-doctoral study at Cornell University. Dr. Bassler focuses her veterinary practice on cats and dogs. Her areas of special interest include internal medicine, dermatology, and dentistry. She lives in West Newbury and owns two pampered cats and a Labrador retriever. She enjoys gardening and going for walks with her family and her dog, Opus.
Dr. Katarina Reilly
Dr. Katarina Reilly received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2007 from Atlantic Veterinary College, Canada. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Reilly loves treating all small animals but has a particular interest in small exotic mammals. She owns two dogs, two rabbits and a bearded dragon. Dr. Reilly received her undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University. She worked as a biologist for several years at the New England Aquarium before attending veterinary school. Outside of work, she enjoys walking with her dogs and husband, running and dancing.
