Waxhaw Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Waxhaw, NC. We are the largest, and one of the oldest animal hospitals in the area. We have a long, strong history with our clients and the community. We also operate a year-round boarding facility connected to the hospital, where our guests get extra special attention by our committed kennel staff, as well as any special medical care if needed.

Tanya Burtis, DVM
Dr. Burtis joined Waxhaw Animal Hospital and Dr. Tapley, its founder, 11 years ago to help with the growth and need for more medical care of the animals in our community. As Dr. Tapley gradually retired from practice, Dr. Burtis bought the practice, and is committed to continuing the growth needed and the best care for our pets.
