Doctors
Dr Munn and Lilly
Dr. Munn was born and raised in Cary, N.C. He attended Briarcliff and Farmington Woods Elementary Schools, Apex Middle and Apex High School. Graduating from Wake Forest University in Business Administration he worked several years before going back to school at NCSU and ultimately graduating from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Immediately following graduation Dr. Munn received advanced training during an internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virgina Tech University. It is this advanced training that helped hone his skills and interests in Canine and Feline geriatrics, ultrasonography, dermatology, and soft/hard tissue surgery. He lives in the Apex/Cary area with his wife and 2 young sons, a dog named Toby and cat named Ricky. You may see him driving around with Ricky on his neck!
Dr. Munn's other interests include acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, fishing, and gardening.
Dr. "K"
Dr.K is a Graduate from Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio(1974),1978 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine(1978) and Post Graduate Training with T.C. Needham, D.V.M.Wilmington, N.C. 1978-1983, with emphasis on Surgery. He is the founder of CHATHAM ANIMAL HOSPITAL founded in Cary, August,1983. His Special Interests include Feline Medicine and Surgery, Canine Medicine and Surgery, Laser Surgery, Diseases of the ear. He is Married with two children, and has two dogs(YoYo and Banjo).
Christopher Falanga
Christopher is a full time practice manager. He lives in north Raleigh with his wife Laura and his daughter Amelia. He shares his house with many pets. Originally from central New York State he spent ten years in Florida. He moved to Raleigh in 2003 and loves the area. His work experience has included almost every aspect of animal care; pet store management, a large reptile breeding facility, mammal and carnivore keeper for large and small zoo’s, veterinary technician, and veterinary management. He has been involved with animal training and behavior modification for over twelve years and enjoys running the training classes at the hospital. He enjoys reading, movies, home improvement, yard work, almost any outdoor activity, and of course spending time with his family. He is very happy being part of the Chatham and West Cary Hospital family.
