We are pleased to announce that Yext has been recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech by Great Place to Work® UK. This award recognises Yext as an innovative tech company in the UK that has built an outstanding and impactful employee experience.
Initiatives that have played a pivotal role in this achievement include Yext's standout efforts to ease employee transition to remote working, such as offering all employees a stipend to purchase equipment and supplies to make their new home office as comfortable and productive as can be. Yext took the hardships of the year to grow in culture and empathy, offering parents who were forced to juggle remote work and childcare 2 weeks of paid emergency family leave as well as the opportunity to work more flexibly.
Yext is among the 98 UK-based organisations that have put practices in place that promote employee wellbeing, prioritise enjoyment at work and create a positive culture of recognition and appreciation.
"We're exceptionally proud to be recognised for our dedication to ensuring constant growth and improvement when creating an inclusive and inspiring workplace culture, especially in the midst of a global crisis," said Jon Buss, Managing Director of EMEA. "We strive to continue dedicating time and effort to creating a workplace our people love."
"The wellbeing and happiness of our employees have been more important this year than ever before. To be shortlisted for this award in such a fast-paced and constantly growing industry highlights our dedication to investing and ensuring an incredible employee experience."
Yext was able to sustain their award-winning culture, ultimately being shortlisted on the 2021 UK's Best Workplaces in Tech™ list (in the Medium category) published by Great Place to Work® UK today. 2021 marks the fourth consecutive year Yext has been recognised by Great Place to Work®, as well as ranking in categories, Excellence in Wellbeing in 2020, and Best Workplaces for Women in 2020.
As Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains:
"Technology is what has enabled the world of work to evolve with pace during the pandemic – and what will continue to push even more leaders to embrace new ways of working, no matter what their organisation's size, location or industry. Those within the UK's tech space who have actively prioritised building a positive employee experience and supported their people's personal wellbeing are the ones we're proud to celebrate today," said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK. "In this fourth year of recognising UK's Best Workplaces™ in Tech, many of these firms experienced rapid growth, but never lost sight of their values. They maintained their mantra of 'putting people first', often finding innovative and creative solutions to drive their great workplace culture remotely. We hope that by highlighting our Tech list recipients, other employers will be encouraged to make changes to their own people strategy and ensure people remain at the heart of their business policies, practices, and programmes for a consistently great employee experience for all."
