Content Authoring

Content Authoring in Yext Content makes creating content and managing updates across a team seamless.

Content Generation

Leverage Content Generation to generate new content and parse existing content. Yext's headless CMS, Content, makes it easy to create and proactively suggest content, such as blogs, FAQs, or descriptions, at scale with the help of large language models (LLMs). Suggestions

Suggestions in Content allow content teams to review proposed edits before they go live in your digital experiences. Using Suggestions, teams can build robust content workflows by assigning ownership, adding comments, and ultimately approving or rejecting content updates. Learn more about Suggestions here.

Rich Text

The Rich-Text Field Type is the primary mechanism for authoring formatted content in Yext Content. This field type supports:

  • Tables

  • Text colors

  • Text highlighting

  • Undo/redo

  • Alignment

  • Sub-bullets

  • And more!

Markdown

The Markdown field type enables technical users to author formatted content directly in Yext Content. This field type allows users to write (Github-Flavored) Markdown directly in their CMS, with additional capabilities such as a formatting toolbar to insert the appropriate Markdown syntax directly in the text editor, and a side-by-side rendered view of the content. Users can also include HTML directly in the field as markup for any formatting that is not specifically supported in Markdown syntax.
