Culture and Perks
We believe that people do their best when they feel their best — and in order to feel their best, they must be well informed, fueled, and rested. To ensure our employees are at their best, we provide the following perks.*
Comprehensive Benefits Program
Our top priority is maintaining our employee's and their family's health and well-being. We offer a robust benefits program, including top-quality health insurance (medical, dental, vision), paid parental leave, a 401(k) with match or retirement pension plan, equity, commuter benefits, and more.
Invested in Your Wellbeing
In addition to our top-tier benefits, we also have a holistic wellness program that includes physical and mental health services. A few employee-favorite perks are our companywide subscription to the meditation, sleep, and relaxation app Calm, and our corporate gym membership (free gym access & discounted classes? Sign us up!)
Our leadership team is committed to company-wide transparency, from newsletters to monthly Manifestos to quarterly meetings reviewing our earnings calls. A new Yexter is selected to host each Manifesto, and the theme varies monthly. Previous themes have been D&I, a brand revamp, and a Q&A with our new CMO.
Yext has workspaces in many of the greatest cities in the world — from our new HQ in New York City to those in Chicago, Greater Washington DC, Hyderabad, London, Paris, and more. Most job families at Yext allow employees to work from any office to experience the face-to-face collaboration, spontaneous interaction, and mutual learning that have become such hallmarks of our global culture.
We work hard and play even harder, but we also recognize that our employees wear multiple hats as parents, caregivers, mentors, volunteers, and more. That's why we offer flexible and generous vacations, paid company and bank holidays, and sick days — all in an effort to give our employees more time to do the things they love with the ones they love.
There is no shortage of opportunities here at Yext, and our employees are presented with countless chances to move internally. But really, internal mobility is at the forefront of Yext's hiring and equated to 20% of our hires in 2022. Our commitment to learning & development extends even further to our mentorship program and Lunch & Learn events sponsored by our ERGs.
*Perks and salaries may vary based on position, city, and country.
And in a testament to how central people are to our culture, the team has continued to be amazing, even as we've grown from less than 100 to almost 1,500 teammates.
I've been able to stay at Yext for so long because I've been given the freedom to take on new roles and try out new things.
I prospected Yext for almost 1.5 years trying to sell Yext on payroll and I learned enough about what Yext does to fall in love with it. I reached out and applied for a job because I knew I'd be good at selling what Yext offers.
I joined Yext because I felt like the Upward program was really going to invest in my skills and development.
One of my favorite moments was when our team came up with the idea for Semantic Text Search. We really stumbled upon it by accident and thought \- "Wow, this could really improve the product in a big way."
Not only have I found a role that challenges me and allows me to learn constantly, but I have coworkers who bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day (even across Zoom).
