Photo Server
The Yext Content Photo Server is Yext's backend system for storing and serving high-resolution photos in downstream applications, like Pages. Images can be stored using photo field types (i.e. Complex Photo, Photo, Photo Gallery, Complex Photo Gallery) – once stored, images are accessible by a unique reference URL which can be retrieved via API. To optimise for display and page load speed, the Photo Server automatically creates a set of normalised thumbnail images in different sizes to ensure compatibility with all devices. Thanks to the Photo Server, developers can confidently build content-rich Pages that load high-quality images quickly to ensure strong user experiences.
