How Much Does Yext Cost? Pricing, Support & What to Expect as a Customer
What Yext costs, what plans include, and how the platform actually works.
TL;DR: Yext pricing is custom. Yext prices by solution: a bundle built around what you're trying to accomplish, so what you pay scales with how many locations you have, the solution you need, and how long you commit (billing is annual, and multi-year terms earn better rates). There's no single sticker price. Every subscription includes support at no extra cost, with faster tiers and hands-on services available. Canceling Yext does not delete your listings, and Yext never holds your data hostage. Yext is built for large multi-location enterprises; smaller businesses are better served by our reseller partners.
Yext pricing: what it costs and what drives the price
How much does Yext cost?
Yext pricing is custom, so there's no single published price, and that's by design. Yext prices by solution: rather than charging line-by-line for each product, it packages a bundle of capabilities around what you're trying to accomplish. A few things drive the number:
- How many locations you manage. For most solutions, price is a function of your location count (or, in some industries, your provider count: doctors, advisors) multiplied by a unit rate, so the size of your implementation is the biggest factor.
- The solution you need. Yext packages capabilities (listings, pages, reviews, social, Scout, and more) around your goal, so the scope of what you're solving for shapes the price rather than an à-la-carte product list.
- How long you commit. Billing is annual, and committing to a multi-year term earns more advantageous pricing.
What are Yext's pricing plans and tiers?
There isn't a fixed public menu of tiers. Yext has moved to solution pricing: it packages a bundle of features around what a customer is trying to accomplish rather than pricing each product line separately. In practice that means your price is built around your goal and your footprint, not selected from a set of off-the-shelf plans. Some capabilities can be bought standalone, but most customers land on a packaged solution.
Is Yext priced per location, and is it billed monthly or annually?
For most solutions, price is based on your location count (or provider count, such as for doctors or advisors). A few capabilities are priced in a more custom way. Book a demo with the Yext team to learn more.
Billing is typically annual; other cadences can be arranged as part of the commercial terms, and multi-year commitments earn better rates.
Is Yext free? Is there a free trial?
There's no free tier and no standard free trial. The best way to evaluate Yext is through a demo, along with case studies and customer references that show the product in-market. Existing customers can also run pilots of new products or features to define value and scope before committing.
What does Yext cost per location?
There's no flat per-location price to quote. For most solutions, price is a per-location (or per-provider) unit rate, but that rate isn't fixed; it scales with your total location count and the solution you adopt, so a small deployment and a several-thousand-location deployment aren't on the same per-location basis. Larger volumes earn a better per-unit rate.
What is Yext enterprise pricing?
Enterprise is Yext's primary channel: you buy directly from Yext, and pricing is built around your location count, the solution you adopt, and your contract term (annual billing). Larger volumes earn a better per-unit rate.
What is Yext agency or reseller pricing?
Resellers negotiate a unit price based on the volume of business they bring, then often bundle Yext with their own products and services, typically to serve SMB and mid-market customers, or regions Yext doesn't sell into directly. Agencies don't have a distinct pricing model; they operate within direct enterprise deals. If you're a smaller business that wants hands-on support, engaging through a Yext reseller partner is the recommended path.
How much does Yext Scout cost?
Scout can be bought on its own or as part of a packaged solution. Like the rest of the platform, Yext generally packages it into a solution built around your goals rather than pricing it as a separate line item.
Is there separate pricing for the Yext API?
It depends on which API. Yext's Live API (consumer-facing use, like powering a store locator or a mobile app) is a paid capability. The Content Delivery API, which moves data within the platform (for example, pushing Knowledge Graph information out to the Listings module), is included at no separate charge.
How much do Yext Listings cost?
Today, listings management is packaged as part of your Yext solution or delivered through a reseller partner if you're a smaller business.
What about Yext PowerListings?
PowerListings was Yext's older self-serve listings product aimed at small businesses managing listings themselves. It's no longer a focus of the business, and you may still find references to it online, but Yext has pivoted to two channels: direct enterprise and a reseller partner network.
Are there volume or multi-year discounts?
Yes, larger commitments earn better rates. Larger-volume customers get a better per-unit rate, and Yext leads with multi-year proposals as the default; a one-year term instead carries a modest uplift over the multi-year rate. Billing is annual.
Yext support: what's included and how to reach it
Does Yext offer customer support?
Yes. Yext support is included with every subscription, so brands can get help from the Yext team whenever a question or issue comes up. Support is available by email and web, in multiple languages, and it's backed by self-service resources: a help site with documentation and how-to guides, on-demand training, and an AI support agent for quick answers. Brands that need faster response times or more team members able to contact support directly can add a higher level of support for priority handling and broader access at scale.
What is the Yext support phone number and email?
The fastest way to reach Yext support is through the help center at help.yext.com. You can also contact support by email at help@yext.com, or in-platform from the Account Details page by submitting a Help Request. All customers receive ticket-based support; phone support is available to customers on one of the higher-tier support plans.
How do I open a support ticket or contact Customer Success?
You can open a support ticket whichever way is easiest:
- Yext Support Portal: help.yext.com (recommended)
- In the platform: click the Account Details icon, select Help Requests, then Submit a Help Request
- By email: help@yext.com from your Yext login email
For the fastest response, add a clear description and attach screenshots or a short video where you can. You can track open and closed requests in the Support Portal or under Account Details → Help Requests.
What's included in support and services versus paid add-ons?
Every Yext subscription includes support and self-service resources at no extra cost. Higher levels of support, strategic services, and specialized offerings are available for customers who want a more hands-on, higher-touch experience.
Included with every subscription: Core support: email and web ticket submission, an AI support agent for quick answers, and the Customer Education and Learning Hub for self-service documentation and training. Core is built for teams that manage Yext confidently on their own.
Available as paid support upgrades:
- Accelerated adds faster target response times, more authorized support contacts, phone support, priority ticket routing, and developer assistance for teams building on Yext's APIs — suited to brands running business-critical programs.
- Platinum delivers Yext's fastest target response times, the most authorized contacts, a designated support agent who knows your account, and regular reporting on your support activity and account health — built for large or complex deployments.
Available as services (a separate program):
- Operate keeps your existing Yext solutions running smoothly with day-to-day management, monitoring, and hands-on platform tasks done for you.
- Optimize adds active improvement on top of that upkeep — solution enhancements like new modules and data syncs, plus closer governance of your program.
- Elevate is the most hands-on tier, focused on strategic partnership, building net-new experiences, proactive governance, and technical health audits.
Available as add-ons and one-time work: specialized offerings such as end-user concierge services, managed review response, and custom training. New products and major upgrades also include a one-time implementation.
Is there a Yext help center and status page?
Yes. The Yext Help Center at help.yext.com has documentation, how-to guides, and training — you can search articles or submit a support request there. For system status, Yext publishes real-time and historical platform performance at yexttrust.com, showing current uptime, active incidents, and scheduled maintenance; you can subscribe to get status updates by email.
What happens to my listings if I cancel Yext?
Nothing bad happens to your listings when you cancel Yext. They don't disappear, and Yext never holds your data hostage. What you give up is the ongoing advantage of managing every listing from one place and keeping it accurate everywhere automatically. After canceling, you'll manage each listing across each publisher individually again.
Here's the mechanics: when you cancel Yext Listings (or opt a single listing out), Yext stops sending your data to the publishers in its network, and that listing is no longer managed through Yext. Yext does not cancel or delete your listing with the publisher. What happens next is up to each publisher:
- Last-update-wins: many publishers keep whatever was published most recently (which was Yext), so the listing looks exactly as it did the moment you canceled.
- Reverts to older data: some publishers roll back to whatever they had before Yext was providing the data, since Yext is no longer powering it.
- In between: other publishers land somewhere between the two.
In every case it's a passive handoff: control of each listing simply returns to the publisher.
For timing: when you cancel, your service continues until the end of your paid-through date, and then Yext stops managing your account.
What to expect: how Yext actually works
What exactly does Yext do, and what is it used for?
Yext is the enterprise agentic marketing platform. Built on the world's most comprehensive structured data platform for local businesses, Yext gives brands and their partners the visibility intelligence to win every moment of discovery – across AI and traditional search. Yext's API-first architecture connects structured data to APIs, MCP servers, and generative interfaces, so partners and developers can build purpose-built experiences on the same infrastructure powering Yext's own products. Thousands of brands and digital marketing partners in financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and food rely on Yext to manage, measure, and optimize visibility at scale.
How does Yext actually work?
Yext starts from your Knowledge Graph — a structured source of truth for every fact about your brand and locations. From there, the platform keeps that information accurate everywhere customers or LLMs might look: it distributes your data directly to a network of publishers and platforms, generates pages and content at scale, and manages reviews and social. Scout sits across the top, measuring how you appear in AI answers and traditional search and pointing you to the highest-impact fixes. The result is one source of truth that stays consistent across search, maps, and AI, without manual updates in dozens of places.
Can I edit an individual listing, or does Yext just push core info?
You edit your information once in Yext (your source of truth), and Yext keeps it consistent everywhere. That's the whole point: rather than editing one listing at a time and letting them drift apart, you update the source and every connected endpoint reflects it.
What networks and directories does Yext cover?
Yext covers 200-plus publishers globally, including all of the top five: Google, Apple, Facebook, Bing, and Yelp. What sets Yext apart: it maintains publisher relationships in APAC and other regions that many competitors don't, so global brands get coverage not just of the major platforms but of the local and regional publishers that matter in each market.
Is Yext a legitimate company?
Yes. Yext is an established, publicly traded company. It has been in the search intelligence space for more than 20 years, built the listings category, and was the first to bring a GEO product to market for multi-location brands. Yext is global — six offices and over 1,200 employees worldwide — and is the only public company in its competitive set, which it also leads by scale. It reinvests heavily in R&D and is regularly recognized on best-places-to-work lists and in G2 reviews.
Is Yext worth it? ROI, alternatives, and the honest answer
Is Yext worth it?
For brands that need to be found accurately across search, maps, and AI answers, Yext earns its cost by increasing visibility, improving brand sentiment, and replacing hours of manual work with one system that keeps your information right everywhere customers look:
- One update, everywhere. Change your information once and Yext pushes it across its publisher network (from Google and Apple to voice assistants and AI search tools), so customers see accurate details no matter where they find you.
- Fewer costly errors. Keeping listings consistent by hand is slow and easy to get wrong, and wrong information quietly costs you customers. Yext keeps it aligned automatically.
- Clarity on what to fix. You can see where your brand appears, where details are missing or incorrect, and what to address first.
- Room to grow. Add-ons like review response, landing pages, and site search let you manage more of the search experience from one platform.
There's a harder way to think about the value, too. Maintaining hundreds or thousands of data points across 200-plus publishers, web pages, third-party review sites, and more by hand isn't realistically feasible, and the risk is asymmetric. The cost of Yext is known and on your invoice; the cost of not having it is hidden until your information is wrong somewhere that matters, and by then it's usually too late to catch. As AI search grows and LLMs increasingly reward consistent, structured data across every endpoint (publishers, pages, reviews), that accuracy only gets more valuable.
The honest limit: Yext is built for serious enterprises. It's the only platform at enterprise scale that can support hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of locations, and it does so in the compliant, trusted way large organizations require. It's not for hobby businesses. Lower-cost competitors are a fine alternative for a small business, but they trade off visibility, scalability, security, and compliance, and as the long tail of AI and search grows more important, a discounted option has a direct impact on your accuracy and how you show up.
What are the best Yext alternatives?
It depends on what you need. For a small business that wants hands-on support, Yext recommends its agency and reseller partners, or small-business-oriented tools. For enterprises comparing platforms, no alternative matches Yext's Knowledge Graph and direct listings distribution at scale — the trade-offs with lower-cost options show up in visibility, scalability, security, and compliance.
Do platforms like Yext actually help SEO and AI visibility?
Yes — accurate, structured, consistently distributed data is exactly what both traditional search and AI engines reward. Because Yext keeps your information correct across 200+ publishers and organizes it in a Knowledge Graph that machines can read, it directly supports how you rank in search and how you're represented in AI answers. As the long tail of search grows more important, that accuracy has a measurable impact on visibility.
