  • On-demand Product Learning Tracks will be available on Yext Academy.
  • API documentation will be available on a new Docs Site. This site will be launched on July 28.

Any saved Hitchhiker links will redirect automatically to their new home.

What is happening to Hitchhikers?

When does this take effect?

Hitchhikers.yext.com will be fully deprecated on July 28, 2026. Content migrations are already underway (check out our help site), and new surfaces will be fully available before that date.

Will my learning history, points, or badges carry over?

Hitchhiker learning history, along with the gamification system — points, badges, and leaderboards — is being retired. The points, badges, and leaderboard system were specific to Hitchhikers and will not carry over to our new learning system on Yext Academy. Going forward, any courses learners complete on Yext Academy will be tracked there.

I used Hitchhikers to explore the Yext platform. What are my options after July 28?
