With plans to deploy 190,000 public EV chargers by 2030, it is one of the fastest-growing charging networks in the UK. But as their physical network expanded rapidly, they faced a new challenge.

The Challenge

Four years ago, Connected Kerb had fewer than 50 charging locations listed online. Unfortunately, many of those listings had outdated or incorrect information — including one that published a founder's personal mobile number. As the company scaled to more than 1,700 live locations, they needed a way to make sure every charging site was updated (in real time) and visible in AI and traditional search. That meant going beyond manual processes to implement a scalable, automated solution.

The Solution

  • 55,000+ listings managed across 71 publishers

  • 689,000+ profile updates made in the past 12 months

  • 2,000+ location pages created to boost visibility in local search

Local Page templates from Yext helps the team to update and publish critical information, like imagery and hours, across all locations. This lets them deliver accuracy and brand consistency, even as new chargers come online almost daily.

The team also introduced review response workflows in partnership with Yext, helping Connected Kerb engage more directly with EV drivers. In just the past year, they responded to 100% of Google reviews — a key trust signal that improves visibility and rankings in local search.

The Results

Yext helps power Connected Kerb's visibility and reach — especially at the local level:

  • 39% increase in Google Listings impressions (from 667K to 929K), despite industry-wide declines due to Google AI Overviews
