Everyone Active, part of Sports and Leisure Management Ltd, which consists of Everyone Golf, Everyone Theatres, Everyone Spa, Everyone Active Champions, and Everyone Events, is one of the UK's leading operators of gyms, pools, and activity centers — running over 230 leisure sites across local communities. They are the longest-established leisure contractor in the UK, having been founded in 1987 and reaching millions of customers each year. But to deliver on their mission to get everyone more active, more often, the brand knew they needed a better way to increase visibility and drive visits (for hundreds of locations, no less).

The Challenge

With over 230 locations and multiple offerings at each, managing Everyone Active's digital footprint was becoming increasingly complex. Their team was manually updating Google listings — and only Google listings — with no way to scale to other channels or ensure consistency.

At the same time, the brand had tens of thousands of unanswered reviews. "We had about 98% unanswered reviews, or around 16,000 across platforms," said Ashley Cathcart, Web and Digital Manager. "From a customer engagement perspective, it didn't reflect well."

Additionally, as customer discovery started to move from traditional search to AI-powered platforms, Everyone Active needed a single source of truth to scale updates, suppress duplicates, manage reviews, and track how their brand was showing up — or not — wherever people searched.

The Solution

Everyone Active first implemented Yext Listings and the Yext Knowledge Graph – later expanding to include Yext Reviews – to take control of their online presence and drive visibility.

By syncing with more than 200 maps, apps, search engines, and directories, Yext gives brands access to the largest network of direct API integrations in the industry. And it's paying off: Yext research shows that locations syncing to more than 75% of the available network see, on average, a 186% increase in website clicks from Google.
