We're proud to announce today that Yext has added Google to the PowerListings® Network! The integration with Google empowers businesses of all sizes to manage their location data—name, address, phone, hours, images, and more—via our award-winning Location Management Platform.

Yext's addition of the world's largest and most popular global search engine into the PowerListings Network is a game-changer, as it provides our customers with unprecedented control over how their location information appears online. Over 200 of Yext's customers and partners are already leveraging its Google integration to power nearly 100,000 business listings across Google Search, Maps and ads.

"This release is the biggest development in location data management since the launch of our PowerListings Network nearly six years ago," said Howard Lerman, Yext Co-Founder & CEO. "Our integration eliminates the inefficiencies of manual submission, delivers a better consumer experience, and gives business owners unprecedented control over their business listings across Google Search, Maps, and ads. We couldn't be more excited about working with Google to deliver more customers to the front door of businesses around the globe."

"Having accurate location information helps us deliver more relevant and useful results when people search," said Aditya Tendulkar, Google Product Manager. "Our API makes it easier for businesses to manage their information at scale, and with the help of companies like Yext, we're eager to help more businesses take control of how their information shows up online."

The value of these updates across Google's properties was proven in January when Winter Storm Jonas struck the East Coast. Sweetgreen, the seasonal fast casual restaurant chain, used Yext to update its business listings across Google and the PowerListings Network to reflect weather-related store closings and reduced hours of operation.

"Without Yext, we wouldn't have had any way to update our store hours across Google, which we now rely on to serve our community of customers with transparent, real-time updates specific to their neighborhood stores," said Farryn Weiner, Sweetgreen's VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy. "And the addition of Google to the PowerListings Network enables us to enter new communities with all of the critical location and contact information, so we can connect with the local neighborhood the moment our doors open."

Google is immediately available to all Yext customers and partners worldwide as part of its PowerListings Network.
