A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of co-hosting a webinar with Teddy Riker, one of our Listings and Review Product Managers, about Yext Posting. If you missed it, you can check out the recording from the event here. In fact, all webinars will be recorded and available for viewing later in the events section of our Hitchhiker site, thanks to our new video pages that were released in the June '22 Monthly Release.

We understand how important it is to communicate directly with your customers on their go-to platforms during specific moments in time. Yext Posting allows you to engage with customers at scale through social posts on your own site or on a variety of 3rd party sites like Google and Facebook.

In this webinar, we gave an overview of what social posting is, how posting works with Yext, walked through a demo of posting in the Yext platform, discussed future plans for Yext Posting, and fielded questions from fellow Hitchhikers.

We were particularly eager to share some updates to Yext Posting as of our Spring '22 Release that make the tool a bit more intuitive and powerful. Our longtime platform power users were certainly excited to see these updates!

For starters, we released a revamped, modernized Posting UI in the platform. This intuitive, point-and-click-user experience is perfect for content managers of all experience levels. It incorporates standard social platform conventions that feel familiar to all.

Teddy walked us through this new UI and demonstrated: how to create a post, how to schedule a post for later, how to post on multiple publishers at once, how to embed dynamic content from Knowledge Graph in posts, how to view past posts as separate objects on each publisher, how to use the new filtering capabilities… and much more!

Additionally, we were so excited to share that users now have the ability to embed dynamic Knowledge Graph fields in 3rd party posts. Previously, this was only possible to do on 1st party posts. This makes it much easier to share the same post to several locations, while ensuring the content is curated for a local audience (with the correct phone number, address, city name, etc).
