ServiceNow Knowledge Article Connector

Easily sync your ServiceNow Knowledge Articles into Yext

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) is making the world of work, work better for people. Its cloud‑based platform and solutions deliver digital workflows that create great experiences and unlock productivity for employees and the enterprise.

If you use ServiceNow for Customer Service Management, you may be storing support content - such as Knowledge Articles - in ServiceNow. The ServiceNow app will automatically sync all of your Knowledge Articles from ServiceNow into the Yext Knowledge Graph on a regular basis. Now you can keep your support content up to date in Yext to power internal search experiences for your customer support team using Yext Answers. Employees can use Yext Answers to quickly find responses to customers’ questions using the Knowledge Articles (alongside other data) that are syncing to your Knowledge Graph.

  1. Log in to your Yext account
  2. Navigate to the Apps > Directory tab in the platform.
  3. Search for the ServiceNow Knowledge Article Connector app and click Install.
  4. Accept the following changes to your account by clicking Next and authorize Yext APIs.
  5. Provide your full ServiceNow URL and Account Credentials.
  6. Wait for the connector to run and see all of your newly created Knowledge Article entities in the Knowledge Graph tab in the platform!

You will be asked for the following during the installation flow:

  1. ServiceNow URL -- This should be the full URL which may look something like "https://company.service-now.com". Do not include trailing slashes.
