The power of location has never been more prevalent than it is today. According to new data from Google, growth in ‘near me’ location searches has increased 146% year-over-year and of those searches, 76% of them result in a visit to a business within a day. At Yext’s Location Lounge, panelists from across the marketing industry discussed the rise of location and how to amplify it to reach more consumers and ultimately drive more local foot traffic.
Moderated by our own EVP of Small Business and Partner, Jonathan Cherins, we welcomed mobile, marketing, and location experts, Michael King, Manager Director at iPullRank, David Minchala, Senior Manager of Acquisition Innovation at Yodle, Jena Kovacevic, Account Director at Amp Agency, and Jamie Adams, CRO of Scorpion.
They discussed new opportunities for marketers to grow their customer base and increase their clients’ sales through location-based initiatives and technologies.
AMP Agency’s Jena Kovacevic, iPullRank’s Michael King, Yodle’s David
Minchala, and Scorpion’s Jamie Adams joined us as expert panelists.
Our CEO Howard warmed up the crowd with a presentation on location
and how it affects today’s search ecosystem.
EVP of Small Business and Partner, Jonathan Cherins, moderated the panel
and asked pointed questions about the link between location data and offline sales.
