Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting Julie Richardson, a member of Yext's Board of Directors and Chair of Yext's Audit Committee, for a YextTalks. In conversation with Yext's own Pat Farley (Senior Director, Internal Audit) and Ali Penny (Senior Director of Account Management, Partner), Richardson spoke about her service on the board, as well as the importance of gender diversity in both technology and leadership positions.
When asked what attracted her to Yext, Richardson explained how Yext was built to scale successfully. As the company grows and diversifies, the board will be part of that journey — something that she is excited to participate in.

When asked for advice on how women can grow into leadership positions, Richardson remarked on insights from her own experience, and discussed how taking risks and moving outside of one's comfort zone allows for some of the best opportunities in one's professional path. "Take risks in your career that allow for your breakthroughs," she said.
