For brands in the restaurant business, Google has become even more influential. Now, you're able to show up in Google's search results, not only when consumers look for your brand, but when they look for a type of food you offer on your menu.
Hungry customers search online for food services more than any other business category. They're often choosing between many options and are looking for answers — fast. It's important to give consumers as much information about your restaurant, and what you're serving today, as possible — no matter which digital service they're using to search. It's no longer enough to have your menus just on your website. You need to be prepared for consumers to find it everywhere they search — especially on Google.
In a recent webinar, Yext product experts Liz Frailey and Loren de la Cruz discussed Yext's Google integration and how food service brands can control the menu information that appears in Google's search results and Maps listings directly from the Yext dashboard. Attendees learned how to:
- Add key menu details, including item descriptions and photos
- Format your menu to showcase the full spread of what you offer in Google's search results
- Manage your menus in the Yext dashboard
