OneDrive Drive Connector
Use the OneDrive Connector to pull in files stored in your drive.
This connector will pull in your OneDrive files as individual entities and automatically sync your OneDrive data with Yext! Now you can search for your OneDrive files and leverage your OneDrive data as a source of truth.
Before you download the connector, ensure that you have linked your Microsoft Account to Yext by going to Content > Configuration > Linked Accounts > Microsoft. Ensure that the Files.Read.All scope is selected. You must also have the following features enabled for your account prior to download:
Spring ‘23 OneDrive Native Source
Spring ‘23 File Field Type
External Permissioning
Install the App:
Navigate to the App Directory in the Yext Platform and search for the “OneDrive Connector”.
Click “Install”.
Click “Next” to allow the connector access to your Yext account.
Provide the required information:
Microsoft Linked Account: This is the ID of the linked account you added prior to download, found in the Yext platform under Configuration > Linked Accounts > Microsoft.
Drive ID: This is the ID of the drive you want to pull files from. You can input a dummy value as you will retrieve it later. If you already know your Drive ID, feel free to provide the input.
- Click “Authorize”.
Finalize Connector Configuration:
You will be redirected to the OneDrive Drive ID connector. Select “Edit Configuration” and navigate to “Specify Selectors”.
You will be able to see all the drives that you have access to along with their IDs. Copy the ID of the drive you would like to pull files from.
Navigate back to the Connector home page and click into the OneDrive Drive Connector.
Select Edit Configuration then navigate to Settings.
Paste the correct Drive ID into the Drive ID input.
Click Continue to bypass the rest of the connector configuration and then Save.
Run the OneDrive Connector to pull in the files from their specified drive. You’ll see a summary of the entities pulled in. Check out the new entities created in Yext Content!
