The Listings Verifier

However, due to each publisher's unique rules and processes for modifying and displaying data, sometimes the information displayed on a publisher's listing will slightly differ from the information you provided. Yext's Listings Verifier is a system built to promote Listings Accuracy, provide tracking tools, and keep you in the driver's seat when it comes to your data.
Automatic Scanning
It's not realistic to expect any person to manually check every single listing on every single publisher on a regular basis. In order to truly understand how every publisher is displaying your data, you need eyes and ears everywhere. That's why The Verifier automatically scans the web to determine the accuracy of your listings. This system will continuously sweep your listings over time and flag any discrepancies between the listings publishers are displaying to your customers, and your CMS data, so that you can track and action these discrepancies accordingly.
Side-by-Side Field Comparison
The data fetched by the Verifier is presented as a comprehensive table, which allows you to assess an individual listing's accuracy. This table includes a side-by-side comparison of your CMS data and the publisher's data for every field, as well as a column that summarizes whether the publisher's data for that field: is "Verified" to match its source, is still "Processing", or is a "Data Mismatch."
Accuracy Metrics in Report Builder
The Verifier also enables you to track "Listings Accuracy" as a metric in Report Builder, in order to understand how well your CMS data matches publisher data at scale. This metric is defined as "the percent of fields with accurate data on Listings," with "accurate" meaning a verified match between the publisher data and your CMS data for each field.
Listing Detail Pages
Listing Detail Pages serve as a destination for in-depth information, such as status and Listings Accuracy, for every single listing in your account. You can take several actions on the listing from this page, such as: "View Listing" to visit the listing on the publisher site, "Force Sync" to resend your CMS data to the publisher, or "Scan," to fetch the publisher data and reverify.
